A walk near our home in spring...will have greeneries, blossoming trees in different colors, fresh air in the parks, tall buildings and churches
Looking around streets of Hartford, Connecticut. US

Hartford, Connecticut - The place is not pronounced and understood by many people from India, for ease we just say "its 3 hrs from New York"...and on the east coast of North America. Its a nice and calm place, free from much crowd and traffic. As we started moving out in the evening we saw many buildings, churches and nice greenry near our place. We spent some time in parks and gardens around Hartford. Hartford Public Library on Main Street on which we live, is very large and has around Millions of Books and the services are free for a Hartford resident. We live in Downtown - Business Hub of any city.

Although its hard to find Indian stores near by our place :( People walking on the streets are very lively and interactive here. We can see people on roads, lifts and gardens wishing and greeting every time to anyone here. We didn't find the place so different as compared to India. Strange part here in public transport is that there is no "conductor", people on their own buy tickets by dropping the coins or swiping bus passes...no one tries to escape. Things here are pretty systematic and people live on so much trust that many a times we "Desi's" feel and say "India mein aisa hota to kyaa hota" :)

911 is very active...even for a small accident like getting a scratch on car or a bumper dislocation, people just start discussing and the trio (police, fire engine and ambulance) arrives in no time :)
