Uday - His takiaa-kalaams "One has to" blah blah blah... ;-) and he carries that smirk all the time in his face..
He has the "Can Do" attitude and works very hard. He made tremendous contributions to this project, now you can call him the "antique piece" of HIG BI engagement.. I was very proud that he got recognized through the ACE award recently. Joan Hartigan loves him dearly, and before that Greg Casale.
A notable milestone in his career at Accenture, I can proudly say that I traveled with him on his "first time" ever trip to Pune office...And, I take the credit for it ;-)
I enjoy working with him..
Bala's credit of taking Uday to Pune office has brought a nice change...Now, both the locations automatically reached to one single decision...And the credit of bringing both Mumbai and Pune team goes to Uday's creative initiatives...these video calls after each release and the team outings wherein we interact with each other...As I already said...I love his management style :)
Uday,certainly is the "Trump Card" of Hartford...
He believes that every resource of Hartford is a "Genie in a bottle"...what he wishes is that each one of us should come out of it at our own will...
A thorough professional,well I am too small for his age to comment on that...
"A man who has will power is the man who knows what he wants"..is something which most people preach..But Uday,does part ways between "just" preaching & practising things!!!
A social person - "Early to rise & Early to bed makes a man healthy but socially dead" is what I agree with his belief...He is a master when it comes to balancing work & social life..He has a sedate nature,has a clever and a quick witted sense of humour..His jokes are supposed to be genuine & which can be grasped by a person of his frequency...
Loves partying,Is good at dumb charades (The pictionary game!!!)..Is fair enough with all his decisions (Sir,remember..You were the refree for the DU Outing Cricket match!!!)...
He is truly fabulous for his age...An Idol at Hartford..certainly resembles the "Dhoni" of India when it comes to driving the team through challenges & winning every release now & then..
Last but not the least..Hearty Congratulations for the ACE award...

Well Rahul, This is Uday's second ACE Award....so we can expect a grand party :)
When I receieved the mail stating I need to contact Mr. Uday Ranade, I thought I need to interact with angry/dominative type of person....but to my surprise I was wrong.....
I would say Mr.Cool of Hartford.What I admire the most about Uday is that he do possess all for what it takes to be an IDEAL PM. Caring and understanding are the two qualities which he carries along with him.
I do have to accept that to DECODE his jokes and comments we need to have thorough knowledge of context and present scenarios. Actually Uday will make a ideal teacher coz everything he explains is with an example which then is easy to grasp..
His jokes...i tell you he will hit one six in a day but that shot will be as worth as HOME-RUN...
I admire the way he handled crunch/pressure situations like EQSL...
The only issue I have and which I have not got my answer is two famous questions for which I am known for :
1) New joiners
2) DU trip (which will never happen)
I just hope that Uday gets in few people from other engagements of Hartforf too (like .NET) :)
